Arts Visalia Presents: Maile Sand-Bearing Witness
Gallery, Painting, Art Show, Museum

Using a mesmerizing effect of the light, Maile Sand’s oil paintings invite viewers to marvel in the beauty of everything around us. In Sand’s exhibition, Bearing Witness, she finds humbling and exquisite moments in both the minutiae and grander of the world. Sand has also created a second exhibition that will be featured in Gallery 2 of Arts Visalia that features her personal endeavor to explore and process her grief, anger and fear in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. For Sand the gallery acts as a sacred space; a space to question, consider, explore...FEEL...and honor lives tragically lost. The exhibition will be on display February 3rd-26th, with a potential opening reception Friday, February 5th from 6-8pm.
