Fresno Filmworks presents the 15th Annual Fresno Film Festival, at the historic Tower Theatre. The festival will feature seven exclusive programs of feature-length and local award-winning short films, including special filmmaker appearances, social gatherings, and Q&A discussions. This year’s lineup includes: Indian drama “Sir”, a tale of two worlds colliding and two individuals connecting; documentary “Raise Hell: The Life and Times of Molly Ivins” pays tribute to the celebrated national political columnist; and the German thriller “Balloon”, which tells the gripping true story of one of the most spectacular escapes from communist East Germany. Tickets for individual programs cost $10 general and $8 for students and seniors; festival passes cost $50.
