Searching for Downed WWII Aircraft in High Sierra

Adventurer, author and photographer, Tony Krizan shares his 30 plus years experience hiking the Sierra Nevada. This talk with focus on five Curtiss Wright P-40 Tomahawk Fighter Aircraft and their pilots who crashed in and around Kings Canyon National Park in 1941. Tony will share the history of these pilots and the mystery of attempting to locate the remaining P-40 aircraft of Lieutenant Leonard Lydon. You will witness the remote mountain scenery of those who dare to venture off trail as you sit back and enjoy the step by step moments of four separate adventures into Kings Canyon Wilderness by Tony Krizan, Fred Cochran and Clem Bingham trying to locate these historic WW2 aircraft.
